Revolution

I wore black because I liked it. I still do, and wearing it still means something to me. It’s still my symbol of rebellion — against a stagnant status quo, against our hypocritical houses of God, against people whose minds are closed to others’ ideas.

Some people wear a particular color of dress at every given time as a self statement, a self proclaimed distinction from the others. Some wear multiple piercings (which I still find a very ‘cool’ ideas up to this day). As for me, I write. I am making a serious conversation with my self, I promise I will write every single day because I want to know my self better. And yesterday, the WordPress send me this notification:

I’ve been writing for 200 consecutive days. It’s amazing. And I do feel to force myself to write every day is the most rebellious act for me. I don’t do any harm to others, or to my self ( I even love my self more nowadays) … to write down my mind is a quiet revolution, writing is very quiet verb, right? Along with reading and attentive listening.

Cheers, may you find a beautiful way to distinct yourself from the world 🥂,

Karin Sabrina
