Gratitude

November 2018

I live to enjoy life by the littlest things, feeling the grass between my toes, breathing fresh air, watching the wind sway the trees, enjoying the company of loved ones, a deep conversation, getting lost in a good book, going for a walk in nature, watching my kids grow up. Just the feeling itself of being alive, the absolute amazing fact that we are here right now, breathing, thinking, doing.

Three years ago, I got my master degree, up to this moment I often wonder how did I go through that? At that time, my personal life was at it’s finest chaos, my financial situation was in similar state, and the demands from a post graduate school put me in a constant lack of sleep, so…. yes, I was a complete mess.

Today I am grateful for all that bitter sweet symphony, every time I face some hardship in life, I remember that moments of graduation and I feel I could face everything. When I feel low, I remember that somehow I could completed all necessary requirements for my thesis (and it’s far from easy), when I worry about money, I remember that somehow, I could pay all the tuition fee for my college, as well as the tuition fee for the kids school.

I struggle a lot, but I am grateful for that, since it makes all the simple little ordinary things becomes beautiful. I am grateful for this cup of hot chocolate, for a husband that supports me and proud with me, for the bright sunlight today, for this cool breezing wind tonight, I am really blessed with all those beautiful things.

Cheers 🥂, may your eyes is always blessed with lots sparkling little things.
