First day of December 2021!

Around this time, last year, me and my husband was so busy preparing for our wedding. The poem above, was initially planned to be put on the wedding invitation, but then I change my mind and use the poem by Sapardi Djoko Darmono instead.

Both of those poems sing about love, a simple but deep love. Khalil reminds us that being a couple is not necessarily being similar in every way, a couple is made from two different human being, but the differences will dance in one harmonious love song ( even as the string of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music). While Sapardi talk about a giving love, an endless love, loyalty and kindness between lovers.
