We become what we repeatedly do.

It had been a week I haven’t done my 30 minutes treadmill exercise, for so many reasons, I was having my period, I felt too tired with so many work loads, my ankles hurt, my knee hurt, I’ve had headache… I am absolutely capable to write a volume of reasons…so, let’s just stop it here.
So, on the eighth day, in the afternoon, I turn off my laptop and then put on my running shoes. I was worried about my ankles, I was thinking I may not even able to pass that 30 minutes program. With so many doubts on my head, I put on my headset, set the treadmill playlist on. I started with Katy Perry’s summer Olympics 2016 song entitled “RISE”. I like the lyrics, I like the message carried by the song and the song help me to tame the worry and fear on my head.
You have a treadmill playlist? Yes. At first, I choose any upbeat song that I like and I thought it will pump up my energy during the work out session, I was wrong. I am a very wordy person, I believe the immense power of words, so “any upbeat song” will not able to lift up my exercise mood. I need a song that good to my ears and sing to my heart too. My definition of a good song for a workout session is a song that give you a support, the lyrics should be saying you can do this; Be faithful that everything will getting better, you just have to be patient and keep doing the good habit.
Cheers, for us who try to stick to our new good habit,
