A friend has just resigned from our office today, he’ll join another workforce starting February. Somehow, seeing him leave, I’m thinking about retirement time. What will I do when retirement comes?

When I google retirement planning, I get many ‘suggestions’ regarding the savings for retirement. But retirement is clearly not only about the money , yes we do need the money, after all, we have no monthly salary anymore when we retire, but…. more importantly, We also need purpose in this phase of life ( retirement). What are we going to do then? We can retire from the work force but we can’t retire from life. Our life must go on.

I probably will open a small bookshop, so I can read all day long 🤓🤓🤓,
