Zola

” We are like books. Most people will only see our cover, the minority will read only the introduction, many people believe the critics. Few will know our content.”

Emile Zola

Excusez-moi Madame Zola, I would like to add some points here; And from those few who know our content, some will misunderstand us, some will judge us, and some will even try to correct the wrongness. Then if we are lucky, we will find one or two-person who know us and genuinely happy, and love us for who we are.

One or two-person? but I have millions of followers!! // Good for you. But I honestly think that having millions of followers does not equal with you have millions of people who will genuinely happy and love you for who you are. Of course, the first step is to find oneself and be content with the result. This first crucial step takes a lot of time to achieve.

As for me, at best, I already have this sketchy image about myself now. I need a great effort to know myself. Since I was a kid, I keep hearing that I should be this, I should draw a palm tree and may not color it in hot pink (true story). I should wear this, I should not speak, think like that, etc. it’s hard to let go of every “should” that I’ve been hearing forever. I do hope, at its own perfect time, I will re-connect with my authentic self after I am shedding each layer of my old self.

And then? Don’t you wish to find that one person that genuinely happy and love you for who you really are? Ow… I have found my person dear. I am really grateful for that. Hopefully, you have found yours, my dearest readers, and if you haven’t met with your person, be patient. Great things/person takes time

Cheers,

Karin Sabrina
