Baggage

When the last old baggage went down, there was relief and strangely, sadness.
The old baggage was so familiar and I didn't even realize that it's heavy baggage.
I carried it wherever I go, believing that it serves me well someday somehow.
Then finally I put it down.
A realization hit that I never need it, and my longtime confusion disappears.
The sadness comes from the familiarity of the baggage I suppose.
Part of me has attached to that baggage and when I put it down, part of me goes with the baggage.

So be it.
