I am extremely lucky! But let me tell you this, it’s a very new way of thinking for me. I wasn’t born thinking I was so blessed and privileged. No.. I was a skinny tall girl who was thinking that everyone else was lucky but me. Everyone else had something that I didn’t. And that’s how I navigated my life until just recently.

10 years ago, I made the boldest decision, I am still damn proud about that up to this day. I chose my people. I chose my favorite human, and I let go of those who aren’t.

I chose a small circle of humans and it’s still the safest place for me to live my life to this day. What I mean by safe is that we use tender words to each other, not once, we say harsh words. Sure sometimes I am upset with my people, but who doesn’t? The thing is we just abandoned rudeness in our circle. And these soft spoken kind words are much more powerful than I ever thought.

Now, I can easily look at the silver linings, I can find encouraging words to soothe the soul even at the lowest time. And my personal favorite is that I forgot how to speak nasty. I’m a fierce believer that our words matter, not just for our mindset but for our body. The body listens to the repeated words and the body records everything.

I am extremely lucky, and the awareness of this luck is completing this  luxurious package.
