I repeat,
Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
It took more than 4 decades for me to understand this verse. After all of hardened resistance to the simplicity of what is, and the endless regrets, fear and bottomless anxiety, I finally crack. And thank goodness for the break.
I finally see why all is indeed well. Beyond the good and the bad, there is peace. The hard times is as it is, a necessity to our growth, the good times is also inseparable part of everything. One cannot exist without the other.
Out beyond ideas of right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there.
Rumi
I hope I am closer to the ‘Rumi’ garden now. I have learned to cease making invisible lines for the good and bad, for the right and wrong. The true love has no opposite. I want to be the light, the peaceful energy that radiates my surroundings.
I indeed have received a prosperous life as I asked for. And so I shall continue to receive. Amen.
