Bravery

Joy sneaks in.

Dear self,

You met an unwanted guest this morning. Usually, you cowardly hide behind those high wall, and you know well that this guest can't possibly pass. All you have to do is to ask the security guy to handle the matter for you.
But today, you came out, you sat face to face with that guest. A brave move, I am sure that bravery comes out because you are so fed up with fear and anxiety. I applaud your move girl. I am surprised, seriously, with your authority in handling the matter. You didn't apologize, and you don't have to. You surprised yourself with the stillness that come, even though the situation is far from calm.
You have found out that across that fear, the worries, exist the place of calm.

Strange isn't it? You always covering up your problems, masking new personas so others can feel comfortable near you. And finally we are here. To the place where you finally understand that everything that happened, happened. There's nothing left to fight. You are here, safe in the now, undisturbed with the anxiety from the future. Because the now is the only place that matter.

I nudged you to see the stress level on your smart watch, and voila, this afternoon, you're as cool as cucumber from the fridge 😅! Your stress level is low.

Thank you dear self. May you be at peace. Amen.
