
What have you done for self care recently?
- Journaling, every day, twice: once in the morning, and once in the evening.
- Meditation and learning to use the breathing method
- Avoid negative talk, and minimal chat with friends in the office who brings so much negativity on the table
- Exercises: running, weight lifting, body combat classes, stretching
- Avoid engaging in the rat race in the office and in many social settings just to meet people expectations.
- I am eating real food everyday: oats with mushrooms for breakfast, fruit cutlets for lunch, and rice, sauteed vegetables and fried, steamed fish for dinner.
- Reading good books, I have 14 days of reading streak!
- I am unlearning a lot of my old habits: shopping to release stress, buying store cookies and cake while I can actually have all the facilities to make it at home, to carry away with my negative thoughts, to need external validation from my mother, to feel less than enough.
- Stay close with my favorite humans.
