Five

“Write down five true things about yourself”

So this is a journey to re-wired my self, from the one who tends to see the bad, to the one who could see the good of myself. my practice today is to write five good and true things about me, in doing this I need to be honest and ignore my inner critics which is loud… too loud.

  • I am kind
  • I have a very good sense of humor
  • I am friendly
  • I am brave
  • I am smart

Funny, I don’t know why it’s so hard to think of five good things about myself. And while I was writing this, my mind was like: Nooo! Who do you think you are… And so on.

I asked my husband this question and he said:

  • You are confident
  • You are beautiful
  • You are a polyglot
  • You are definitely addicted to tea
  • You are bold, like everyone will notice your presence right away.

Well… Tonight I accept his remarks about me. I am a good person. Yes I still have about 999 problems but who doesn’t? I am grateful for my life now. I have everything that I need and even slightly more. It’s a beautiful life and I deserve this.

Cheers, I’ll remember to say 5 good things about myself in daily manners.
