Running notes

Several notes about my running today:

  • Forgot to lace my shoes correctly, the shoes are supposed to be snug, not too tight and not too loose. A reminder: I do not need new running shoes! -sigh!- 😅
  • My smart watch started to mess up, I ran 5 km and it recorded 8 km; I ran 14-ish km and it recorded 5-ish km. Errghhh… I disconnected it from Strava and I’ll record my run mainly with Strava from now on. Hmm… I need a new watch then… *Eh.. 😅😅😅
  • A long run for 2 hours or more is surprisingly refreshing and fun 😁 I like it… I’ll make it a regular, once a week.
  • Forgot to bring eyeglasses, the dust on the road… My goodness!
  • I drank 500ml mineral water and 500ml of isotonic water, feels adequate, but  there’s still dizziness after the run.. but it’s gone after I had my nap.
  • I saw some elderly people doing slow motion exercises in the park, one of them was sitting in a wheelchair. I saw some other runners/ walkers, I smiled, some smiled back, others didn’t. It’s a great morning!
