Clean up

I dare to say… I like cleaning up, you know the house work: washing the dishes, sweeping, mopping, putting the laundry into the washing machine, and sometimes when all the stars line up correctly, I even clean the storage room: sorting, rearranging, and tossing out things that have never resurfaced for the last three years ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… .

Yes, some people might have different preferences, they probably think I am wasting my time, life is short, you should go out and visit wonderful places instead of sweeping the floor or worse, ironing the clothes, no one will remember how clean your house is; they will remember how you make them feel, no one cares whether your living room is clean or not, that regular house of yours is not going to be published in magazines etc….

Well… Those people may like to go on adventurous routes, and I like to clean my home; they may think they are having the best time in their life, so do I.

I don’t know why, but I do feel cleaning up is cathartic for me. Perhaps my mother has a great success to instill that concept into my head, perhaps it’s the refreshing smell of pines from the cleaning soap, I will never know.

Cheers, stay clean,

  1. All I can say is, going out is not a requirement! If you enjoy what you’re a doing, then you get joy from it! Some people like going out, some people don’t (I don’t btw) so whatever floats your boat and all that.
