I just finished this book, and starting now, I cannot see the trees the same way. Trees were already here on earth much longer before us, and trees will be here when we are gone.

So it’s a botanical book? No, it’s sad but beautiful, it’s a heartbreaking but hopeful story about the life of immigrants, those who are uprooted and rootless because of civil war destroyed their homeland. It reminds me of Khaled Hosseini’s books.
