
I heard some people can run and listening an audio book at the same time. I definitely am not included in that group of people.
When I do my treadmill, the only thing I listen is my pop-rock-playlist. My mind is continuously thinking: when will this tiring session ended. 😅
I start to like my running time and I definitely love books.. but those two are not my favorite combos to do at the same time. And I don’t think I have the ability to do it.
I heard something in my meditation class about let our mind rest from actively buzzing all the time. I feel calm when I run… Because my mind feels quiet. And even when it has questions, I would reply it with a simple “I don’t know”. So yes, I am not those who could run and listening to books at the same time, I will not try to be “more productive” or “gain more” with my sweat time. I prefer Sia or Black Pink or Lenny Kravitz or Smashing Pumpkins or the Prodigy or … You get me .. 😁.
