One thing that I like about my self is my ability to brutally think the bright side of every situation that I encounter in this unpredictable path of life. I did get too philosophically more than often, and I believe only a person with a very well reserved patience who could tolerate my “all is well, we need to believe that all will turn out to be just fine” attitude.
Every time I do believe, everything that needs to happen, will happen, regardless of our personal preference. I clearly don’t like to be a mess, to be heartbroken, deceived and neglected. But these very bitter things toughen us, all the disappointments are actually calling the updated version of ourselves. We can’t hide from the sore of these experiences, we can’t just pretend they do not exist.
Let’s bring one of the coolest theory I know, Newton’s third law. It basically says: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The statement means that in every interaction, there is a pair of forces acting on the two interacting objects. The size of the forces on the first object equals the size of the force on the second object. If Object 1 is ourselves, and Object 2 is the fateful disheartening event, the force for these two objects are equal. In a shorter version, the event will shape us, and we also shape the occurrence of that event.
Writing is my preferred way to remember the bright side of the bad event. of course, the problems or the situation will not “abra-ka-dabra” resolved in an instant, but hey.. we all could face a bad event in a good attitude, good thoughts, vibrant colors, and irresistible smiles. Good vibe will attract good things. Amen.
