Bravery

It’s a beautiful thing to write, don’t you agree? I really like to write at the end of the day, like now. My brain is forced to remember all the things that are worth writing, and surprisingly it is never the same thing. Every day I find something new, whether it’s about me, about my relationship with my spouse, with my son, or with my mother, about my colleagues, or about a book or movie that I just watched.

What is the new thing about me today? I can say I am brave today. I woke up, and walked through the day even though I just wanted to curl up in bed this morning. I even put a 40 minutes plus for running/ walking on the treadmill today – yep, still building that machine, still running in zone 2 until October this year. Today I didn’t want to face the world, but I still do it with a smile, that’s brave. And I am also brave because today I conclude that every derogatory comment, bitter conversation, and belittling attitude from others are just lessons for me to train my mind and my emotions. I aim to reach that point where no harsh words will be able to disturb my fountain of peace within, and that’s a very brave goal.

I hope all of you too find your peace in many forms of art that you might be doing my dearest readers 💓.
