So… today I did something unusual—I revamped my LinkedIn bio 😅. I’m not entirely sure why… Probably because I don’t know where else to put my Coursera certificates, or maybe I’m just curious to see my professional timeline laid out in one place.

And actually, my professional timeline is very… hmm, how to say… eclectic and harmonious. My experiences started with being a radio host (and that’s the very place where I learned about public speaking and script writing), then moved to being an EFL lecturer, a freelance MC, and later a translator and HR & GA staff member in a plantation company.  See… eclectic and harmonious!

I also replaced my profile photos (it’s a couple photo of me and my husband). I can almost hear you whispering… “Couple profile photo… on LinkedIn?” Yes—and that frowning is valid. But hey, I said I replaced it, okay? With my emcee profile picture. I even put the emcee photo on the banner. The LinkedIn banner is really narrow, but luckily I had just the perfect photo for it.

So what? Do I think something good will come through LinkedIn for me? Well… hopefully so 😌

At the very least, having a good LinkedIn profile certainly wouldn’t hurt, would it?
