Dear God,
Dear Universe,
Dear Giver of all unseen things,
Thank You.
Thank You for hearing my silent pleas, for holding us in the waiting, for orchestrating moments I could not have planned. Thank You for opening this door — not just for a job, but for dignity to return to my husband’s eyes, for air to enter this tight room again.
Thank You for reminding me that things can change in a moment. That after long nights, morning still comes.
I receive this goodness with open hands.
I do not clutch it — I hold it gently, knowing it is grace, not entitlement.
I promise to walk humbly in this answered prayer.
To remember this moment when someone else is still waiting for their miracle.
To keep my heart soft, even after the storm has passed.
And if this goodness arrives in a different shape,
I will still whisper thank You.
Because I trust that You are not done yet.
Because You are always in motion, always unfolding, always good.
Amen.
So be it.
