Hello March, welcome! I believe you bring many fortunate days onto the table.

My friends from the four seasons say that March is the time of bloom and renewal – spring is here! They exclaim. But I live on a tropical island so, I meet sunlight all year long, yes, lucky me. I get to see tiny green leaf sprouts all year around, the bluebell vines in my front yard have flowers all the time, and  the Philippines lime (calamansi) plant gives me its delicious and fragrant lemony fruits every single day.

That’s why I chose ‘fortune’ as my focus word this month. I’m starting this 2025 with focus words (an idea by a poet friend Ms. Donna Ashworth) January was Peace, February was abundance and March is Fortune! And so far, I really think this focus word sets the  month accordingly. My January was Peaceful, my February was abundant, and I believe Fortune will be mine this march.

I am carrying peace, abundance and fortune into this new month, letting these powerful words guide me. I leave behind all that no longer serves me, entrusting my heavy baggage to February. She keeps them, allowing me to move forward lightly, unchained from past stories and regrets.

I left regrets and anger about things that happened last year, 10 years ago, many years ago into the keeping of February. I leave behind excessive Anxiety, scarcity mode of thinking – because I now proudly stand in the land of abundance- I already have everything I need and even slightly more, I release my fear of what might happen, leave them to the February’s keeping. I am walking gently and lightly into March, fortunate and abundant and in peace.
