Bluebellvine

Look around you and write something that you notice

Donna Ashworth

It’s raining hard this evening,  there’s a bluebellvine plant in the front yard, its vivid blue flowers stay intact under the rain.  The vines are leaning to a mango tree so they look like two friends leaning shoulder to shoulder. I wonder what their discussion is about, I read some articles that confirm plants communicate to each other.

Do the blue flowers say to the mango trees:  look at that woman who picks my flower every single day… What do you think about her? – naah … Plants will not waste their time gossiping about me 😅, they probably discuss about the nutrients in the soil or the sunlight or perhaps they have news from other fellow plats in the distance places.

Some years ago, I saw an online class about trees in MOOC Coursera, at that time I thought 🤔 what a strange class… Why do we want to learn about trees? It can’t talk, it can’t move, what’s interesting about them? Gosh.. can you see the amount of stupidity I just demonstrated? It’s true… Stupidity has no limit. I am ashamed of myself.

The trees are majestic… They have been on earth far far longer than us, humans. We need trees to survive, and trees are independent from humans, they don’t need us. Some cultures believe that trees will send their prayers to the gods. Whenever I run, I try to find the track with lots of trees… The greeneries will make me so relaxed and happy.

I hope the plants in the front yard like me.. 😅😅😅.. and I wish all of you too can find time to enjoy the greeneries at your place.
