This is the view from my mother in law’s room window, twelfth floor, Royal Prima Hospital in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia.

For the last two months we have been back and forth into this place, uncertain about the outcome of the treatment received by my mother in law. She has the big C, and probably has become too weak to resist the disease.

She is 72 and her husband is 76 years old. My father in law has become her primary nurse, I can see he started to have deep fatigue.
