I’m starting a resting revolution! Yes! It’s about rest, and yes it’s revolutionary! I’m amused every time people frown on my decision to spend my holiday season at home. Since when do we equate holiday season with stuck for hours in neverending street jam? I just don’t get it.

After so much happening in 2025, finally two weeks paid leaves and stay at home? Exactly! I’m baking some cookies, spring cleaning the house ( just kidding, in Indonesia there’s no such thing as spring cleaning, I just clean the house whenever I have time to 😅), oh I rearranged the storage room, my lovely mom is a chronic hoarder so yes… I’m the person in charge of sorting all of these unused things -every year-. Seriously… I am so willing to ask her, can we keep the things that we actually use? Instead of keeping things that we definitely don’t use for years? But no… I have no guts to say things like that. 😅😅😅 I’ll keep my mouth shut and keep things tidy for at least 3 months ahead.

Oh I’m sorting the clothes too… The clothes that are too small (I think my son is having a growth spurt 😅😅) will be donated. All the clothes that have not been used for the last two years, and any obscure reason for this still very much wearable clothes, all will be donated.

So… You’re not really resting then? Oh darling…. This is life! I’m having my best time… Not buzzing here and there Monday to Friday, not pretending I love to chat to such and such in the office pantry, and I can reply to any messages as slow as I want. This is resting my dear…
