I saw a video clip some time ago about a writer who wants to write a book. She made so many notes..  and it takes up a whole year to prepare the notes.. no.. not even starting to write the book! And after that.. another 6 months to write the book. It’s a novel I think.

That short video kinda pinched me hard… I’ve been toying with the idea to write a book for more than a decade! But I guess … Judging from the way I treat that idea, my book will stay in the realm of wish list for another decade.

You see… I love to read books, and always wonder and marvel how can a writer like Khaled Hosseini creates such intricate stories with lots of characters woven into one unforgettable book. That short video taught me a good book is far from an overnight success. It’s a hard process.

Write a book…. Hmm…. Let’s see about that.
