Today is Sunday, and I woke up at 5.30 a.m.! That’s the first success. I and my husband planned to have a long run this morning, but the sweet beautiful rain canceled our plan, and the water pump decided it was time for a rebellion! It refused to work, and clearly, it is not an easy task to find a mechanic on Sunday Morning. So the mood started to sour…
But I determined to have my workout time, and after completing some other obligations in life, I opened my yoga mat. When I was about to do the first movement, life showed me that some humans are not allowed to have children, unfortunately, this type of human lived across the street from my home, I wish I could have unheard of the screaming of his children, his daily dirty words to those little children, to his wife, to his maid… I hope his wife will eventually understand that he is a psychopath, a loser, I hope she will find the courage to leave and find a new life. Something new is indeed scary but to think that she will spend her life for that monstrous man, it’s unthinkable. I hope the Divorce process in this country can be made easier and not costly, so many women and men don’t have to go through what I’ve been through just to be Legally single again. I finally made my 30-minute workout, not cheerful because my mind was way too full, so that’s the second success.
The water pump mechanic came and the water situation resumed to normal again, I put the washing machine to work almost immediately, and I started the hardest task for the day, ironing and folding the clothes, and I finished the task, with an excellent quality. So that’s the third success.
After having a triple success, I plan to re-arrange my life into a more structured routine. I read that Haruki Murakami has a very structured day, wakes up at four a.m., has some workout, starts to write from 7 a.m. to 12p.m, and in the afternoon he trains for his next marathon, and goes to bed at 9 p.m. a very predictable and simple life, I like it. Does having a plan is also a success? Yes! Because it’s a plan for a better me. So that’s the fourth success.
Have a great day my dearest reader,
K Sabrina
