What notable things happened today?

• This Friday felt like Monday
• I visited a modest nursing home today… First time for me, and after that I think a lot about being old.
• I have a rather lengthy discussion about writing, I am a writer, my job is to write, I will write the things I want to read, not the things that the editor wants.
