Piano

I am an intuitive slow learner, which means, I decide on what to learn based on my intuition and I learn it slowly ( not because I enjoy every moment of learning this “something new” but because I am slow to digest any new information from the learning process). For the last few weeks, I’ve been toying with the idea to play Piano again. There’s an old piano sitting unused in the living room, kinda stare at me every time I sit somewhere near, my mom purchased the Piano when I was a 3rd grader kid (30++ years ago). I didn’t like the tutor ( a girl that perhaps 10 years my senior), so I kept making small trouble at the Piano class. It really was a short course, and I think Piano is not for me.

I tried to do another Piano class in my college years, but still, I didn’t like it. And now… perhaps because I just like to hear the soothing sounds of Piano, perhaps because I inspired by seeing my son learning to play the violin, perhaps I inspired by the books I read regarding learning to play a musical instrument and so on… No matter the reason, I intuitively want to play Piano again. I am actually thinking to pay for an online class, and do some browsing the music courses websites…and hallelujah!!! .. there are tons of ways to learn Piano for free… I am going to try to learn to play Piano here at Soundfly, this is used to be a paid subscription class but perhaps because of this Pandemic era, the website provides free music course for everyone.

And suddenly you just know it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.

I feel so happy by just thinking of it!

Cheers!
